Roof repairs

Water rarely gets in where the stain shows up. We find where it is actually coming from and fix that.

Why leaks get missed

Water runs. It gets in at a failed flashing, travels along a batten or a rafter, and comes through the ceiling metres from where it started. Sealing the wet patch does nothing, which is why some leaks get fixed three or four times.

Finding it properly means getting into the roof cavity as well as onto the roof, following the water back, and checking whether it is one failure or the first of several.

Repair or replace

Sometimes a repair is the right answer and the roof has years left. Sometimes you are putting money into something that is going to keep failing. We will tell you which one you are looking at, even when that means telling you the roof can wait.
