What we take on

- Leak investigation, where the leak is almost never above the puddle
- Box gutters, sumps and downpipes, which cause most internal water damage
- Translucent sheeting and skylights that have gone brittle and milky
- Anchor points and walkways, so maintenance afterwards is not a working-at-heights job
- Scheduled gutter clean-outs and an annual condition report
- Strata common-area roofs, awnings and shopfronts
Working around a business
The roof is rarely the hard part. The constraint is what is happening underneath it: stock that cannot get wet, a line that cannot stop, a shop that opens at nine.
- Staged so the building stays weathertight, with nothing left open overnight
- Nights and weekends where noise or dust is the real problem
- SWMS, certificate of currency and site inductions sorted before we start
- Programme dates held, because other trades are waiting on us
Out west
A lot of commercial work sits in the industrial estates around Wetherill Park, Smithfield, Ingleburn and Seven Hills. Different problems to the coast: no salt to speak of, but hail, serious heat load on a big dark roof, and spans wide enough that fixing patterns and thermal movement have to be thought about.
